Football Recap: West Lauderdale Has No Trouble Against Seminary

After only six points in their last matchup, West Lauderdale made sure to put some points up on the board against Seminary on Friday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 40-14 margin over the Bulldogs.

Travion Mosley was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 217 yards and three scores while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 89 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylon Dixon, who rushed for 49 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: West Lauderdale was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 343 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The win got West Lauderdale back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Lauderdale will face off against Morton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seminary, they will challenge Collins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
