Basketball Recap: Central Lee Takes a Loss

Central Lee lost to Mediapolis back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hawks were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 70-40. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 70th).

This is the second loss in a row for Central Lee and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Mediapolis, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.

Central Lee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mediapolis, they will welcome Davis County on Wednesday.
