The West End Patriots made easy work of the North Sand Mountain Bison on Tuesday and carried off a 15-1 victory. Considering the Patriots have won 13 matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Emma Franklin made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, West End got a massive performance out of Liddy Falkner, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. That's the most runs Falkner has posted since back in April of 2024. Braylee King was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

West End hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive games.

West End is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for North Sand Mountain, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 16-18.

Coming up, West End will host Sand Rock at 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday. North Sand Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
