Potosi waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They were the clear victor by a 65-39 margin over the Cassville Comets. The Chieftains have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 24 points or more this season.

Potosi's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Cassville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Potosi will venture away from home to challenge Pecatonica at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Potosi knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Pecatonica likes a good challenge.
