Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Adamson Leopards, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Leopards this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Adamson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jefferson is set to square off against their familiar foe Hillcrest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Adamson will take on rival Molina at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
