Loretto put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 59-54 W against the Cannon County Lions. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Lions are ranked 118th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Loretto's victory bumped their record up to 31-0. As for Cannon County, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 23-9 record.
