Preview: Chillicothe Eagles vs. Northside Indians
Chillicothe is 1-9 against Northside since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Chillicothe Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Northside Indians at 7:30 p.m. Chillicothe is out to stop a 12-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Chillicothe was beaten by Crowell 67-15.
Meanwhile, Northside's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Benjamin, falling 102-19. Northside has not had much luck with Benjamin recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Chillicothe's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Northside, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
Chillicothe was taken down by Northside 56-27 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Chillicothe avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
