Basketball Recap: Grand Canyon Find Success

Grand Canyon won the last time they faced Music Mountain, and Jaemie Jensen did her part to make sure it happened again. The Grand Canyon Phantoms came out on top against the Music Mountain Warriors by a score of 37-30 on Tuesday thanks in part to Jensen, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 17 steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 29 times she's played.

The win got Grand Canyon back to even at 3-3. As for Music Mountain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Canyon will venture away from home to take on El Capitan at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Music Mountain, they are taking a road trip to face off against BASIS Flagstaff at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Music Mountain is facing BASIS Flagstaff at the right time seeing as BASIS Flagstaff is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
