Softball Recap: Terry Takes a Loss

Terry lost against Brookhaven last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Terry Bulldogs came up short against the Brookhaven Panthers, falling 16-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amaya Cooper made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one double. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits.

Terry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Brookhaven, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Terry will face off against Ridgeland at 6:00 p.m. on March 6th. As for Brookhaven, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-2 win against Franklin County on the 28th.
