Baseball Recap: Dickson County Comes Up Short

Dickson County came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions, falling 15-5. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Dickson County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 26-4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dickson County will challenge Green Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, they will square off against Clarksville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
