Basketball Recap: Quentin Jones Key Part of a Team Effort in Knights Win

Traders Point Christian's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 53-42 win over Horizon Christian. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 59-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Traders Point Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Quentin Jones, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 22 points. The dominant performance gave Jones a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Fisher, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 12 points and seven rebounds.

Traders Point Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Horizon Christian, they now also have a losing record at 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Traders Point Christian will venture away from home to square off against Tri-County at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Horizon Christian, they will head out to take on Herron at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Horizon Christian is facing Herron at the right time seeing as Herron is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
