Louisville is 9-1 against Marlington since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Leopards will be playing at home against the Dukes at 5:00 p.m.

On Monday, Louisville didn't have quite enough to beat Dover and fell 2-1.

Louisville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Roberts, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Marlington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past Canton Central Catholic 8-7. The victory was some much needed relief for the Dukes as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Louisville has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Marlington, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.

Louisville came out on top in a nail-biter against Marlington when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Leopards repeat their success, or do the Dukes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
