Volleyball Recap: Dwight Gets the Win

Dwight won the last time they faced Midland and things went their way on Monday too. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Timberwolves 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Dwight who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 23-25, 25-20.

Dwight's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-12. As for Midland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-8 record this season.

Dwight has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Henry-Senachwine on the 14th. As for Midland, after both having extra time off, they and Woodland will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
