Volleyball Recap: Advance Beats Bell City for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Advance came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Bell City Cubs as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Cubs back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Advance never let Bell City on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20, 25-22.

Olivia Kennedy paced Advance's offense, picking up 13 kills. Kennedy got some help from Mallory Mayberry and her 21 assists. Cashlynn Sturgeon controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Advance's victory bumped their record up to 18-14-2. As for Bell City, their defeat ended a 14-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 24-5.

Advance has already played their next match (against Scott City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bell City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Meadow Heights on the 20th.
