Softball Recap: South Garner Falls to Millbrook in First Game of Season

South Garner kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Millbrook Wildcats, falling 12-2.

South Garner saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jada Leigh Harris, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

The victory got Millbrook back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, South Garner is taking a road trip to face off against Hillside at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Millbrook, they will host Wake Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Millbrook is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
