Soccer Recap: Rosemead Comes Up Short

Rosemead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gabrielino Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 last Monday.

Jesse Romero and Gavin Raygoza scored both of Rosemead's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Rosemead's loss dropped their record down to 4-12-4. As for Gabrielino, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9-4.

As of now, neither Rosemead nor Gabrielino have any future games scheduled.
