It was a good run, but Danville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 57-46 to the Williamstown Blue Devils. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-55 back in January.

Nick Mascitti was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 11 boards for Williamstown. The match was Mascitti's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Evan Bailey, who posted 11 points and four steals.

Danville's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Williamstown, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Danville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-41 win against Winooski on the 4th. As for Williamstown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 73-55 victory against Bellows Free Academy on the 5th.
