Basketball Recap: Everman Finds Playoff Glory Versus Wyatt

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Everman walked away with it. They beat the Wyatt Chaparrals on Monday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 61-22. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 401st, while the Chaparrals are ranked 970th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Everman's third in a row) raised their record to 17-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points over those games. As for Wyatt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.

As of now, neither Everman nor Wyatt have any future games scheduled.
