Montverde Academy came tearing into Saturday's contest with 16 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.1 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Academy of Central Florida Golden Bulls 67-38. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 20 points or more this season.

Montverde Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Saniyah Hall, who posted 14 points in addition to seven steals and three blocks. Hall has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Crump, who earned 19 points along with eight boards and seven assists.

Montverde Academy pushed their record up to 24-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.3 points. As for Academy of Central Florida, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
