Basketball Recap: Broken Arrow Beats Owasso for Their Fourth Straight Win

Broken Arrow put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 58-52 W against the Owasso Rams. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Suriah Matthew continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 71% from the field on her way to 20 points and six rebounds. Those 20 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Sanders, who posted 14 points and six boards.

Broken Arrow smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games dating back to last season.

Broken Arrow's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Coming up, Broken Arrow will be playing at home against Edmond Santa Fe at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Owasso, they are taking a road trip to take on Norman North at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
