Basketball Game Preview: Central Christian Comets vs. Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints

The Central Christian Comets just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Central Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Alliance 67-6 on Monday. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Tuscarawas Central Catholic ended up a good deal behind Malvern on Saturday and lost 50-35. The defeat continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now lost four in a row.

Central Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-7. As for Tuscarawas Central Catholic, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Central Christian couldn't quite finish off Tuscarawas Central Catholic in their previous meeting back in January of 2015 and fell 56-53. Can Central Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
