After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Muir, Crescenta Valley was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed by the Glendale Nitros on the road to the tune of 45-7. That 38 point margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.
Leonidas Grant had a dynamite game for Crescenta Valley, rushing for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Xavier Thompson did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 114 receiving yards.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Crescenta Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glendale only rushed for 87.
