Basketball Recap: Easton Takes a Loss

Easton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Central Aroostook Panthers, falling 45-15. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Panthers are ranked 34th).

Easton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Central Aroostook, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

Easton has already played their next game (against East Grand), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Central Aroostook will head out to face off against Fort Kent at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Fort Kent is on a four-game streak of home wins, Central Aroostook a eight-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
