Basketball Recap: Barlow Comes Up Short

If Barlow was feeling good fresh off their 67-37 takedown of David Douglas last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Barlow Bruins were outmatched by the Clackamas Cavaliers and fell 65-33. The defeat continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now lost six in a row.

Barlow's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Clackamas, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barlow will head out to take on Sandy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Barlow is facing Sandy at the right time seeing as Sandy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Clackamas, they will square off against Bellarmine Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Clackamas knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Bellarmine Prep likes a good challenge.
