Soccer Game Preview: Loveland Classical vs. Forge Christian

Loveland Classical is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Colorado Springs Christian 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for Loveland Classical.

Meanwhile, Forge Christian came tearing into Wednesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Demons a 1-0 shutout. Forge Christian's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Ashlyn Acree, who's now up to four this season.

Loveland Classical pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those six games. As for Forge Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-7-2.
