South Mountain is 8-2 against Camelback since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The South Mountain Jaguars will take on the Camelback Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, South Mountain turned things around against Kofa on Tuesday. They took down the Kings 68-53.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Camelback). They strolled past Browne with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 88-73. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Camelback has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for South Mountain, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-16.

South Mountain couldn't quite finish off Camelback in their previous meeting two weeks ago and fell 65-63. Can South Mountain avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
