Basketball Recap: Gladstone Takes a Loss

Gladstone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Philomath Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Gladiators have suffered since December 19, 2023.

Gladstone's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Philomath, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Gladstone will square off against Newport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Philomath has already played their next match (against Sweet Home), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
