Baseball Recap: Pickett County Takes a Loss

Pickett County managed to slip by Monterey the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Pickett County lost 12-0 to Monterey on Tuesday. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Pickett County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Monterey, they moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pickett County will take on Red Boiling Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up.
