Football Recap: Centennial Starts Season with Victory Against Servite + How To Watch

Centennial gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-14 victory over the Servite Friars.

Centennial was led to victory by Dominick Catalano and Malaki Davis. Catalano threw for 330 yards and four touchdowns, while Davis gained 117 total yards and three touchdowns. Those four passing touchdowns gave Catalano a new career-high. Centennial also got a significant boost from Zander Lewis, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.

Centennial was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 221 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Servite only rushed for 91 rushing yards.

Coming up, Centennial will venture away from home to face off against Santa Margarita at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Servite, they will welcome Murrieta Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
