 It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westerly can now relate to. They fell just short of the East Providence Townies by a score of  2-0 on Sunday. The  matchup marked the first time this season in which Westerly was not able to get on the board.
 Westerly got a good showing from  Jack Zerbarini, who   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 On the hitting side, Westerly saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Andrew Bozek, who  went 2-for-4 with a  double.
 Westerly's loss dropped their record down to 19-5-1. As for East Providence, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-5-1 record  this season.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: they beat Westerly by a score of  2-0 later that day.
