Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manning). They were the clear victors by a 20-4 margin over the Mullins Auctioneers on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Monarchs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
The team relied heavily on Dakota Lambert, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Madisyn S, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
Manning always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .758. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Manning now has a winning record of 4-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manning will take on Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
