Baseball Recap: Sacred Heart Takes a Loss

Sacred Heart was the 4-2 winner over South Beauregard when they last played one another back in March of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Sacred Heart Trojans fell just short of the South Beauregard Knights by a score of 4-3 on Saturday.

Sacred Heart's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for South Beauregard, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Sacred Heart has already played their next game, an 11-3 victory against Berchmans Academy on the 17th. As for South Beauregard, they will face off against Iowa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Iowa will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something South Beauregard surely won't give up without a fight.
