Recap: Frankton Eagles vs. Oak Hill Golden Eagles
The Frankton Eagles won the last time they faced the Oak Hill Golden Eagles, and things went their way on Saturday too. Frankton walked away with a 39-27 win over Oak Hill. The win made it back-to-back wins for Frankton.
Frankton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Sperry led the charge by scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Amaya Collins, who scored 12 points.
Despite the loss, Oak Hill still got an impressive performance from Alivia Shaw, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landri Hardman, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Frankton has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Oak Hill, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.
Frankton will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Connersville at 7:30 p.m. on December 28th. Connersville is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Oak Hill will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Madison-Grant at 10:00 a.m. on December 30th.
