Softball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Tyngsborough Tigers, falling 16-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Gaels in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Clinton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Schoolcraft, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Tyngsborough, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Looking ahead, Clinton will be playing at home against Burncoat at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tyngsborough, they will challenge Dracut at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
