After a string of nine wins, Wall's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Brownwood Lions by a score of 4-3. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 10-1 to the Hawks when the teams met back in February of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wall's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Brownwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Hawks face off against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Wall's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Brownwood, they will challenge Llano at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Llano has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with six straight losses, while Brownwood will come in with five straight victories.
