There's no place like home for Patrick Henry, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. They blew past the Hoover Cardinals 49-26 on Friday. The  game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  35-14.

 Patrick Henry's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Zaiden Gravely, who picked up 82 receiving yards and five  TDs. Those  82  receiving yards gave  Gravely a new career-high.  Calvin Glenn was in the mix  as well, providing Patrick Henry with two scores.
 Despite the  loss, Hoover saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Hezekiah Manuel threw for 221 yards and three  touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards. Manuel has become a key player for the Cardinals: the team is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  three  passing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
Patrick Henry's record now sits at 3-5. As for Hoover, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record  this season.
