Volleyball Recap: Long Beach Takes a Loss

Long Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hancock Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bearcats of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Long Beach's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Hancock, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Long Beach will head out to square off against Pascagoula at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hancock, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Gulfport on the 23rd.
