Basketball Recap: Sullivan Comes Up Short

Sullivan was the 54-47 winner over Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Sullivan Redskins fell to the Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] Titans 47-43. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Garrett Pollock out in front who posted seven points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds gave Pollock a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Henricks, who earned eight points.

Sullivan now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland], the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sullivan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Argenta-Oreana at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th. Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Unity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
