Volleyball Recap: Fort Scott Comes Up Short

Fort Scott lost against Maranatha Christian Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Leading Maranatha Christian Academy to victory were Abby Nash and Macy Karlin. Nash had three digs, two aces, and one block, while Karlin had seven digs and two aces. Nash is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 25 games she's played.

Fort Scott has been struggling recently as they've lost 20 of their last 21 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-26 record this season. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season.

Fort Scott has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Frontenac on the 11th. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Oswego on the 11th.
