The Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers will venture away from home to face off against the Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Sacramento Country Day, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, everything went Sacramento Country Day's way against Faith Christian as Sacramento Country Day made off with a 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Cavaliers this season.

While Sacramento Country Day might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Faith Christian scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Western Sierra Collegiate Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Futures.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Western Sierra Collegiate Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 19-25, 25-13, 21-25, 16-14.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Sacramento Country Day, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Sacramento Country Day was able to grind out a solid victory over Western Sierra Collegiate Academy in their previous matchup last Saturday, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sacramento Country Day since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
