Football Recap: Dillon Christian Falls Despite Big Games from R Bracey and Jordan Blackmon

The matchup between Dillon Christian and Lee Academy on Friday hardly resembled the 7-7 effort from their previous meeting. The game between the Warriors and the Cavaliers didn't end well, with the Warriors falling 42-25.

Dillon Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Jordan Blackmon and R Bracey. Blackmon rushed for 92 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while Bracey picked up 91 receiving yards and one score. Bracey really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards.

Dillon Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lee Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Dillon Christian will head out on the road to face off against Carolina Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lee Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Beaufort Academy at 7:30 p.m. on September 12.
