Volleyball Recap: Highlands Ranch Finds Home Court Redemption Against Heritage + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Highlands Ranch, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Heritage Eagles 3-2 on Wednesday. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Highlands Ranch wouldn't go down easily and took Heritage into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-18, 21-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Maggie Weiss had a dynamite game, getting 19 digs. Those 19 digs gave her a new career-high. Alice Weiss also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Loss or not, Heritage got some senior leadership from Anneclaire Fieger and Liv Cuddie. Fieger had seven digs and five aces, while Cuddie had four digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Cuddie.

Highlands Ranch's record now sits at 4-12. As for Heritage, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6.

Coincidentally, Highlands Ranch and Heritage will both be playing Regis Jesuit the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
