Volleyball Recap: Highlands Ranch Victorious + How To Watch

Highlands Ranch's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Heritage Eagles. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Highlands Ranch was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-18, 21-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Highlands Ranch found their leader in sophomore Maggie Weiss, who had 19 digs. Those 19 digs set a new season-high mark for Weiss. Alice Weiss also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Highlands Ranch's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Heritage, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6.

Coincidentally, Highlands Ranch and Heritage will both be playing Regis Jesuit the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
