 The St. Charles North North Stars will head out on the road to  take on  the Kaneland Knights at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. St. Charles North will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
 St. Charles North stacked  a  seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They never let Batavia onto the board and left with  a   9-0  win.
 Not much got past  Paige Murray, who gave up just  four  hits and racked up 15 Ks to keep Batavia off the board. Murray has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, St. Charles North let  Ivy Gleeson and  Mackenzie Patterson loose on the outfield. Gleeson  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4, while  Patterson  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ella Heimbuch, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of three wins, Kaneland's good fortune finally ran out  on Wednesday. They took  a  6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ottawa.
 Kaneland saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  NATALIE NAAB, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 St. Charles North has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record  this season. As for Kaneland, they now  have a losing record at 8-9.
