Forrest City and Lonoke are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Forrest City Mustangs will face off against the Lonoke Jackrabbits at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Forrest City's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

Last Tuesday, Forrest City didn't have quite enough to beat Wynne and fell 63-60. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 165th).

Meanwhile, Lonoke played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 78-54 to Stuttgart. The Jackrabbits haven't had much luck with the Ricebirds recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Lonoke's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Forrest City, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 14-6.

Everything came up roses for Forrest City against Lonoke in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 73-28 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Forrest City since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
