Apple Valley came into Saturday's contest having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Breck Mustangs by a score of 51-41 on Saturday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Apple Valley's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11. As for Breck, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Apple Valley will head out on the road to take on Washburn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Breck, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mounds Park Academy at 6:30 p.m. Breck is facing Mounds Park Academy at the right time seeing as Mounds Park Academy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
