North Stafford lost against Riverbend on May 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Bears by a score of 2-1. North Stafford's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Lysander Diaz-Flores, who's now up to three this season.

North Stafford's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-3. As for Riverbend, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-7-1.

Coming up, North Stafford will take on Gainesville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gainesville will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something North Stafford surely won't give up without a fight. As for Riverbend, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 0-0 defeat against Harrisonburg on the 27th.
