Basketball Game Preview: Wynot Blue Devils vs. Winnebago Indians

Wynot is 2-7 against Winnebago since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Blue Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Indians at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Wynot's tournament run continued when they took on Walthill on Tuesday. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Blujays by a score of 68-57.

Meanwhile, Winnebago waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bees 72-31. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-16.

Winnebago's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Wynot, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Wynot couldn't quite finish off Winnebago in their previous meeting back in January and fell 56-53. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
