Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Allentown). They blew past the Nottingham Northstars 13-1 on Thursday. The Redbirds haven't had any issues with the Northstars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Allentown's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Nottingham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Allentown will take on Matawan Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Huskies' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Redbirds' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Nottingham, they will square off against Burlington Township at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Northstars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
