Basketball Recap: Chattanooga Central Takes a Loss

Chattanooga Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Soddy Daisy Trojans and fell 66-6. The Pounders were not able to make up for their loss to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Chattanooga Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Soddy Daisy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chattanooga Central will face off against East Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Soddy Daisy has already played their next contest (against Ooltewah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
